Having just read the 2008 industry report from the training mag. A number of L&D reports interested me especially in this economic downturn. Looking at these one could wonder whether or not all L&D professionals will be worried about tomorrow or will we just be putting away technology until things get better here are a few facts I found interesting.

So what you might say well when I look at those figures I don't see a recession for me I see opportunities within the Training and Development industry if you are willing to put your skills forward. I think as an industry L&D professionals have a lot to offer the corporate world especially larger companies who can see the benefit of a well structured, outsourced training programme.
The future is good.
